Who can use SafelyMeet

SafelyMeet is intended for women 18 and older in the United States. By creating an account you confirm that you identify as a woman and are at least 18 years of age.

What SafelyMeet is

SafelyMeet is a free public records search tool that searches federal court records for personal safety purposes. It is not a consumer reporting agency and its results may not be used for employment, housing, credit, or any purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

Permitted use

SafelyMeet may only be used for personal safety purposes — specifically to research someone you are considering meeting in person. Any other use is strictly prohibited.

Prohibited use

You may not use SafelyMeet to stalk, harass, or harm any individual. You may not use results for employment screening, tenant screening, credit decisions, or any commercial purpose. Violation of these terms will result in immediate account termination.

Accuracy of results

SafelyMeet searches publicly available federal court records only. Results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or refer to a different person with the same name. SafelyMeet makes no guarantee of the accuracy or completeness of any search result.

Limitation of liability

SafelyMeet is provided as-is with no warranties of any kind. SafelyMeet shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use this service, including any decisions made based on search results.

Your data

SafelyMeet collects only your first name and email address. We do not store your searches, sell your data, or share your information with third parties.

Donations

Donations to SafelyMeet are voluntary and non-refundable. Donating does not create any additional rights or obligations between you and SafelyMeet.

Changes to these terms

SafelyMeet reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
